We just returned from dinner so this post is gonna be short.

Quick rundown of who I am with.  Riding we have Mike (Team I Hate Cancer co-founder), JB, Brian, Nathan and myself.  CJ (Mike's brother and co-founder) is driving our van and supplies...keeping us hydrated and nourished.  Rob is documenting our trip and also providing support.

We had a great day on the road today.  We waited out the morning rain and stayed dry throughout the day.  The first 85 miles (suburban Philadelphia and into NJ) were just dense with cars, but it was worth it for the last 20 miles which were just glorious.

Lunch in Milford, NJ (mile 54) was interesting. Literally had the heaviest deli sandwich in the world.  It was good, but definitely made the next 10 miles a bit harder than they should have been.  Didn't help that we transitioned from ~20 miles of flat leading into lunch to some hills post lunch and it warmed up a bit.  The wind, although 10-15 mph from the NW for most of the day, wasn't that bad.  I felt like we were moving pretty well.

The bonus of finished at a farmstand was awesome.

Tomorrow we head up to Woodstock, NY.  109 miles and the forecast looks great.  Looking at the route I suspect we will have many more miles of beautiful roads (i.e. fewer cars) tomorrow than today.

Enjoy these pictures with commentary.
